Global fashion brand Adidas Originals has taken its NFT business to the next level. In collaboration with the young NFT artist FEWOCiOUS, Adidas announced its next interaction of phygital sneakers dubbed Adidas Originals Campus 00s.
Emanating from FEWOCiOUS’ pop surrealistic artistic style, the designs for the pair of sneakers come in a dominant combination of black and white colors, mixed with thick, blue and white cloud pattern lace.
To receive the Campus 00s kicks, users need to mint and hold an NFT pass called the Trefoil Flower Mint Pass. Exploring “The Art of Play,” the collection features a total supply of 4,500 digital passes with each sold for 0.25 ETH. The passes are scheduled to launch exclusively on June 22nd via OpenSea on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Holders of NFTs such as ALTS by Adidas, BAYC, Doodles, FEWOCiOUS NFTs, and others will receive access to the presale. These will also benefit from a 20% discount on the presale price, allowing them to purchase the Trefoil Flower Mint Pass at 0.2 ETH.
Owners of the Trefoil Flower Mint Pass will be able to burn their tokens to redeem the physical Campus 00 sneakers later this summer. In place of the NFT passes, holders will receive a new digital twin NFT received by scanning an NFC chip attached to the physical footwear. This will enable holders to have a pair of physical kicks and a digital counterpart.
