History:
They say there are more stars in the universe than the sand grains on all the beaches of planet Earth.
In the year ERC 721, Olof the Gen stumbled into the jungle in search of the brightest star there was. After passing by expansive beaches and the wildest of trees, Olof spotted an old and crooked sign in front of a mystical cave which read, “Beware, OgreWorld Ahead”.
The cave radiated energy and looked menacing but Olof was bold enough to enter this treacherous looking cave and explore the dungeons beneath it. After six days of exploring these deep and dark dungeons, he was pleasantly surprised by an enchanted glowing portal.
Olof was brittle as he felt like his journey had just begun..
The enchanted gate opened up to OTG Megalopolis, the capital city and renewed energy source of the OgreWorld. This world exists deep within the cosmos of the blockchain, with the five asteroidal habitats floating around this central star city, connected to it by cosmic bridges.
Olof the Gen was the first to have discovered the existence of this enchanted parallel universe and many would follow his footsteps to call the OgreWorld their new home.
This imperfect-but-perfect world however, was not always the stable, bustling, place it is today. With the central source of sustenance being an ancient star, Ogrekind came into existence, evolving of the nutrition they could find on their own asteroids.
The five clans that form the OgreWorld include:
Doro- The Mud Slingers from Doro Town,
Inferno- The Flamethrowers from Inferno Falls,
Kori- The Frozen from Kori Kliffs,
Atom- The Mutants from Atom City and
Cyber- The Dystopian Spaceheads from Cyber Grove
They all had the same basic DNA, but possessed different qualities that stemmed from the core elements of their Home Asteroids.
As the Ogre populations grew in number, needing more of what they had, each civilization began envying the other.
The Doro looked at the Atomic and saw tremendous energy and craved it to power their town. The Kori saw the abundance of heat present in Inferno Falls and craved it to keep warm. And when these tribes looked up at the sky they saw the Ogres of Cyber Grove, and wished they too could fly.
It wasn’t too long before the five were at each other’s throats. Mud slinging was actually a thing for the Doro Clan, and the heat from the Ogres at Inferno Falls melted the Kori Kliffs away. The Ogres of Atom City unleashed their radioactive energies and melted down Cyber Grove.
As millennia passed and the clans ate away at each other’s resources and lives, their powers shrunk. Their bodies withered and their minds got ugly.
A few of the learned Ogres decided to save their kind and resolve their tiffs by electing Twelve representative Ogres from within each clan who would henceforth be called Lordes, to meet and parlay. Each clan bestowed upon their Twelve Lordes a set of ancient relics that would allow them to channel the powers of their own Immortals to restore peace.
Egos clashed and words were said, as they stood at the edge of their listless world, before they finally decided to call it quits. The Lordes had finally agreed to pool in their resources to find a solution that would save the Ogrekind, since each clan had exhausted more than they could afford.
In spite of a joint effort, the meet continued into the darkness of the night with no clear direction.
Early next morning, as their dying star meekly shone, they bowed their heads to pray in unison for the first time in eons to call upon the Immortals who had created their world for them.
When they raised their heads and looked towards the dawn sky, they realized that their prayers had been answered with the birth of a fresh glow from within their star.
The Five Immortals had channeled their inner spirits to create a sixth Immortal, made from the best parts of the Five, to reside within the dying star and serve as the everlasting energy source for the reformed OgreWorld.
The Atomic harnessed the star with the help of the Cyber, whilst the Doro, Kori and the Inferno built the foundation for OTG, a cosmopolitan as balanced as its newly formed Immortal, which would serve as the capital for the rebuilt OgreWorld, and provide refuge to Ogrekind till their homes were rebuilt on their asteroids.
Olof, in his Ogre Avatar, began his journey by exploring the capital city of OTG, becoming one of the many involved in rebuilding the Home Asteroids of the OgreWorld.
