August 22nd — The official launch of Digihats on Ethereum!
August 22nd at 22:22 UTC is the official launch of Digihats on Ethereum! Anyone who has sacrificed their BSC Digihats and has credits in their Ethereum address will mint their Digihats on our website through our new smart contract. People who do not have credits will also be able to mint Digihats for 0.044 ETH. We will remove the function from our website to mint Digihats on BSC and no longer credit newly minted Digihats on BSC with the swap.
What are Digihats?
Digihats are the first original NFT project hosted on the Binance Smart Chain and the first cross-chain NFT project. We launched on BSC on March 5th, 2021 and moved to ETH on August 22nd @ 22:22 UTC.
Digihats are a collection of 8888, 88x88 pixel, computer-generated numbers, each with their own uniqueness; no two can be alike. Every Digihat has a combination of the color of the numbers, backgrounds, items, hats, and special items. Besides the randomly generated Digihats, there are special number Digihats that have been hand drawn and have hidden meanings.
Until all 8888 Digihats have been minted, anyone with an Ethereum wallet will be able to mint one of them from our website. You can mint Digihats using credits which are earned through The Great Digihat Sacrifice, or for 0.044 ETH. Once all the 8888 Digihats have been minted, you will have to purchase them off the OpenSea to get your hands on one. Via the marketplace, you will be able to buy, bid on, and host auctions for the Digihats.
How can I get a Digihat?
Unless all 8888 Digihats have been minted, anyone with an Ethereum wallet will be able to mint one of them from our website: thedigihats.com by using a Digihat credit, or for 0.044 ETH. Once all the 8888 Digihats have been sold you will have to purchase them off a third-party marketplace such as OpenSea.

What is a Digihat credit?
Digihat credits are credits that are redeemable for 1 Digihat NFT. They are earned by participating in The Great Digihat Sacrifice. To participate in The Great Digihat Sacrifice you will have to have owned a Digihat on BSC, that was minted before August 22nd, 2021 @ 22:22 UTC, send it to the graveyard, and fill out our google form. We are crediting our OG Digihat family 2:1 if they sacrifice a normal Digihat on BSC, or 10:1 if they sacrifice a unique Digihat on BSC. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN EARN CREDITS IS BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GREAT DIGIHAT SACRIFICE!
