King Solomon’s Throne ancient site has been registered by UNESCO in 2003 located in north-west part of IRAN with a mysterious lake in the middle of it. The maximum depth of the lake is around 77 meters. The history of King Solomon’s Throne goes back to 3000 years and different dynasties have been ruling in this area and of course, there have been wars between them to capture the throne. According to the historical books and tales, King Solomon’s famous ring lies down at the depths of the lake. It’s also been said that a part of the famous Holy Cross has been brought here by Khosrow (King of Iran) after he captured Jerusalem and then during the roman’s attack, it has been thrown to the depths of the lake.

This 30 seconds time-lapse video has been produced from chosen frames among around 500,000 photo frames taken from a mountain high (1000 meters) near King Solomon’s Throne ancient site for 365 days. It is the first one in a series of four time-lapse videos for which two sets of tough customized waterproof recording boxes with a Nikon D3400 camera installed inside of each were placed on two different mountains at heights of 1000 and 1500 meters to take shots of the site from different angles all year long. Cameras were programmed to take shots every 5 seconds during daylight and some chosen night times. A solar panel attached to each box was providing the power for the camera and the temperature control system. Humidity inside the boxes was being controlled by absorber bags to keep the cameras view completely clean. What you see is a product made out of around 20,000 frames taken by one of the mentioned recording boxes showing the time that this amazing Rainbow rises exactly from the top of the site and draws to the sky. The final few frames show you a top view of King Solomon’s Throne ancient site.
