I have released a small 4 piece collection of my digital art depicting the darker side of conscious thought.
Each of the 4 pieces has a thorough description, explaining the meaning behind the image, the questions raised and answers offered.
The images together with their descriptions make for some good art and let's the viewer reflect on some of the more darker topics humans may face in their lifetime.
The pieces of art are named, in no particular order;
1- A Clown's Perspective - A digital art piece of a deformed looking clown. He is an outsider and he shares his perspective on those who judge him by the way he is on how he looks. For me, it speaks to those who feel bullied and those who bully.
2- Prisoner - This piece showing a prisoner, discusses how many people feel in their own lives. Trapped, not where they want to be, incarcerated by their limitations and lack of self belief. People who live by others expectations and perhaps those who do want a way out but don't really know how to begin.
3- The walking dead - Showing the walking dead speaks to those living who are not really living but merely existing. It speaks about living in the present and taking control of your destiny. A reminder about how precious our time is on earth and how we should invest wisely in the time we do have in order to get the most out of our time here.
4- Satan - A depiction of Satan and a discussion on the battle between good and evil. The piece targets the root cause of evil behaviour. It also discusses our own thoughts and questions how many of us have gone to those really dark places in our mind, places we would never dare to share with others.
