Into the Bag Lands
Bagsy was created by two friends who wanted to find a way to promote being yourself during a time when you are told to conform and fall into place. We feel that self-expression, a waning quality in people, should be encouraged and promoted. Bagsy is a way to hide your restrained self and be your true you.
Our art style is inspired by the rubber hose style of art pioneered by comic artists of the 1930s. These cartoons with fat lines and bold colors remind me of my youth and wanted to pay homage to the art style of Disney, Warner Bros, the cartoons that I grew up watching.
The idea is reminiscent of paper bag masks when you were a kid, with a few crayons and eye holes and you could be anything you wanted to be. The same thing happens when our characters put on the bag. The magic of their personality will shine and emote who they want to be. BE FREE BE BAGSY!
We thought this design would be a great NFT to create unique headshots that can be used as a profile pic or anything else. The colors represent our love of creativity as do some of the interesting designs.
Bagsy, will have a range of 10,000 different heads and some rare ones in the mix as well. There are some homages to some pop culture icons as well as some of the famous cartoon characters of our time.
We have big plans for the future of Bagsy and our friends. There is still a lot to uncover and find out.
T and Vince will be hard at work to see how far we can take out characters and ideas. We will be developing the brand and technology that makes the Bagsy Blockchain doable. This is just the start. Who knows where we will go from here?
