Emil Nava is a British music video director and founder of Ammolite, Inc. His company is a hybrid creative and production studio based in Los Angeles, California. Emil started his career as a chef but later transitioned to a globally recognized music video director. He rose to fame in 2011 after directing Jessie J.’s song, Do like a Dude and later collaborated with various artists. He has formed long-lasting relationships through his creative studio and personal connections. His work has earned him global recognition, significant awards and nominations. The blockchain technology disruption in the music space has seen Emil make several NFT drops. On 29th March 2021, Emil, in partnership with a long-time friend, Calvin Harris, made the TECHNOFISH drop in Nifty Gateway in a 10-minute open edition. This drop was inspired by Emil’s father, who was a Mexican fisherman. Later in April, they made their second drop, GROWTH, which features other rising digital creators. His role as a music video director has seen him work with top artists such as Post Malone, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, and Ellie Goulding. He has also worked with Mercedes-Maybach GLS, Pulse Films, Walter Pictures, London Alley Entertainment, and Yella Inc.
