Carlos Marcial is a Puerto Rican artist who has perfected the 3D realism niche. He was born in Mexico but spent most of his youthful years in San Huan. His parents introduced him to art when he was a kid. The dad was a part-time painter and art professor, while his mother was a professor at the university, an art historian, and a journalist. He studied film directing and scriptwriting at the Drama Centre London and majored in film and literature at The University of Puerto Rico. When starting his career, he worked for the local Puerto Rico TV station as an editor, visual effects artist, and comp artist.
Carlos is one of the early adopters of Cryptocurrency technology in art and made history as the first digital artist making a living solely from the blockchain. His involvement in the mobile application "Stop the Wall" caused his name to hit the headlines in America. The app mocked President Trump's idea of building a wall at the Mexican border to stop immigrants. The first NTF drop by this artist was "The Blockchain is the Message." He later followed it up with "Chronicles" and "Silencio."
