This release is part of Rarible's cross-chain expansion as it is integrating Mantle NFTs into its NFT ecosystem. It’s worth noting that Rarible has already facilitated over $27 million in NFT transactions spanning Ethereum, Polygon, Flow, and Tezos.
A brand-new marketplace, Mintle leverages Rarible’s open-source protocol that powers various web3 apps, games, and wallets. One of the driving forces of Mantle is its modular architecture that helps to reduce transaction fees while not losing in high performance. Mintle will also use Mantle’s Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) modular layer-2 (L2) known for its high performance. Integration of this blockchain will provide users with a fast, easy, and cost-efficient NFT trading experience.
Rarible stands as an NFT marketplace firmly rooted in its commitment to community governance principles. These unwavering principles find their counterpart in Mintle, where governance will be vested in the hands of its community through the Mantle token ($MTN). This move mirrors the governance model employed by the Rarible Protocol through the $RARI token.
Mintle will additionally uphold its commitment to creators by enabling them to access new monetization channels through enforced royalty mechanisms.
