Disney continues to blaze its way to the non-fungible world and realize its Web3 ambitions. A legendary entertainment company has partnered with a renowned Web3 gaming studio Dapper Labs to launch Disney Pinnacle, an NFT platform for collecting and trading digital pins. The marketplace will be built on the Flow blockchain which is the product of Dapper Labs.
These brand-new collectibles will feature characters from Walt Disney Studios, beloved personages from Pixar, and iconic heroes and villains from Star Wars Galaxy, represented as digital pins. As this new marketplace is promised to be immersive, in addition to collecting and trading their digital treasures, all collectors will also be able to interact with other collectors, take on challenges, and feel the magic of the enchanting world of Disney like never before.
Scheduled to launch by the end of the year, Disney Pinnacle will be available on the App Store for iOS, the Google Play Store for Android, and through the website.
“Fans anywhere will be able to collect dynamic pins on their phone and trade instantly and securely with each other no matter where they are in the world," Dapper Labs CEO Roham Gharegozlou said.
