Two Parts:
1) Love for the subtle humor in NFTs and admire the reimagination of art value and who gets to decide that. Somewhat like we're(all of us in this community) re-inventing the universe, in a way, and at the center is cryptocurrency and NFTs where the paradigm changes.
2) Hankering for an avenue where we can make tangible, positive change. Have you ever wondered what it'd feel like if you could have enough money to aid in areas that felt otherwise, without money, the help you could provide feels minuscule? Not that money should deter us from getting involved in critical issues- it doesn't. But just imagine solving major issues, or funding critical infrastructure needs, where it benefits everyone - ignoring the politics. Just do it because it's the right thing to do.
Take the humor and admiration for the NFT art marketplace, and the profits that come from that to make things happen. Just get sh@t done. That's our purpose.
Don't let these NFTs fool you. There's more to them than it seems at first glance. Stare at them as you would in a museum and you'll get it. There will be more along the way. We're just getting started.
