The bloody war caused by the criminal actions of Russia keeps burning in Ukraine. The brave Ukrainian people hinder the Kremlin's aggression from spreading further to the West. To help Ukraine go through this hard time, the globally renowned digital artists have joined efforts by creating the RELI3F NFT project. This Web3 initiative is focused on providing humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people.
The team of RELI3F comprises 37 prominent figures from the Web3 realm, including Andrew Wang, Danny Cole, Vinnie Hager, Sartoshi, Giovanni, SignorCrypt, Satvik Sethi, and others. The influential artists, some of whom call Ukraine their home, contributed their NFT works to the project for free.
The RELI3F NFTs launched on February 26th, two days after Russia crossed the Ukrainian borders for war. Only 30 seconds after the initial launch, the project managed to raise over $1 million. All the proceeds from the NFT initial sales go to aid Ukraine, while the royalties from secondary sales are forwarded to help Ukrainian artists, charities, or other initiatives according to the creators' choice.
The diverse RELI3F NFTs are available now on OpenSea at a floor price of 0.005 ETH. This Web3 initiative by the time of writing has managed to raise 702 ETH in trading volume, which was transferred to Ukrainian non-profits, including Come Back Alive, Local Ukrainian Media, and Hospitallers.
“We are doing this because we believe in the power of our space. It has given us new lives, led us to good people, and equipped us with incredible tools. Today is a test of what we can do when we unite as a community to give back. I hope you’ll join us,” the NFT influencer Andrew Wang posted on his Twitter.
