Forty-nine squared is a collection based on patterns.
If you view the collection in # order, you will see the X moves along the screen horizontally until it reaches the end of a row. Then the X moves down vertically and along the screen in the opposite horizontal direction. This pattern repeats for 2401 (forty-nine squared) NFTs. For example, #1 contains an X in the top left corner, #49 contains an X in the top right corner.
1 - #2401 each use a different base color and have an X situated in a unique location. The four corners (#1, #49, #2353 and #2401) are exceptions to this rule, and have black as the base color.
The additional NFT included in the collection is the color index #2402 which displays the colors used in each NFT, according to where the X was located. For example, #7 is purple. This same color appears in #2402 seventh from the left.
