How WEYU NFT Company Helps Refugees

WEYU is a living example of how crypto technologies can make this world a better place.

WEYU is in the NFT business and works with many chains to develop resale markets for the tokens. Recently, the company has teamed up with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to help people around the world in their uneasiest times.

WEYU reminds us with its partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) that crypto can be a force for good in the world.

Other firms like Cardano have partnerships with the UN. But this UNHCR & WEYU collaboration is totally never-before-seen. Thus, UNHCR reports that a full 1% of the world’s population is displaced. This is a crazy high number and more than 2/3 come from only 5 countries:

  • Syria
  • Venezuela
  • Afghanistan
  • South Sudan
  • Myanmar

WEYU's help is forwarded to bringing these people to the NFT space, teaching them how to create, mint, and earn through NFTs. This initiative will help refugees cope with financial problems and let them earn without being bound to one place.

The project begins this Monday, November 8th. You can follow on WEYU’s TwitterTelegram, and/or Discord to see when the first NFTs mint so you can buy and support this great cause.

About WEYU economy

WEYU has its own token $WEYU & is up almost 10% on very light trading at $.0458, according to Coingecko. It has a circulating supply of ~ 50 million with a total supply of 5 billion, per their website.

Of course, it's far from the first good affair in the crypto space. Thus, on September 20, the AIDS charity auction was held to benefit from Freddie Mercury NFTs sale.
