The Story
Trader Owl entered the world of Twitter as early as April 2021. NFTs were not booming and no one really knew what they were really about. Avid writers and web3 users alike started experimenting with them and still, everyone wondered what is their purpose and how people can utilize them. At that point in time, our small team generated a small unique collection of Trader Owl NFTs and listed them on OpenSea with the hopes of someone noticing them as they have a deeper meaning than just art. (Yes, they are art do not worry)
Following up on that, we decided to share our thoughts and opinions about the world of crypto, web 3.0, and anything blockchain-related on Twitter. We are much like you, regular people who go on a day-to-day Twitter rant about what is wrong and what is right for the blockchain community. (Yes, you can check our Twitter rant as it is very much still there!)
After much thought and consideration, we decided to take Trader Owl to the next level and share the idea behind our project with a wider audience. You are that very person who can help us grow and create an amazing community of Trader Owls. With your support, we believe we can change the NFT world and all NFT communities can only stand and watch as we take over the space.
Our beliefs and ideas are aligned with what DeFi was meant to be from the very beginning - accessible to anyone, regulated by none other than the people, and most of all anonymous.
Based on this, we decided to expand Trader Owl and create a unique collection of 10 000 Trader Owl NFTs!
The Art
NFT art is a very subjective topic much like art itself. Some people enjoy portraits while others enjoy landscapes. It’s just how it is.
Trader Owl NFT is inspired by a pet owl toy that was almost destroyed by the pet itself. (As we all know, love hurts sometimes). Therefore, we decided to make it into an NFT that can be used as a PFP on your socials and much more that we will announce in the upcoming weeks!
Ultimately, Trader Owl is not like any other NFT you have seen. We want to distance ourselves from your typical 2D PFPs or any of the meta 3D NFTs. By doing such, we want to show the world of NFTs that you can still have a unique PFP NFT owned only by you that represents art, pop culture, and DeFi’s core values. If you do not like the art or our NFT, then we cannot convince you otherwise and this project is not for you.
