This one of one art piece was made from a place of compassion and empathy. This reference for this artwork was taken by the artist himself, a real life instance of its purpose. There are people who go through a lot of strenious work daily just to barely even put food on the table, talk less of having a decent roof over their head. A day's work missed is a day spent in hunger. This category of people are everywhere, in different magnitudes of course, no matter how developed the nation is.
"To Make Ends Meet" was made to create an awareness of the trials such people go through, so that those who have it better can feel more obliged to render a helping hand as much as is within their means. The tiniest deed of love and empathy can go a long way to change lives.
