Nowadays uprising of the NFT digital art is shaping toward a concept of art as intangible, digital, and immutable but can we go in the opposite direction?
This project attempts to translate a purely digital entity into something concrete and tangible.
And it all starts with a video, a means that, with the advancement of technology, has increasingly abandoned the hand and human error.
“Thermal Hong Kong” is my first NFT series that deconstructed a video into singular frames printed on thermal paper and, for this reason, they are destined to degrade, fade and eventually disappear over time.
