Thus, the project doesn't end with solely NFTs. “The tale of a fantastical realm” and a “universe of the bizarre” from the mind of Ferriss will become a long fiction story that Ferriss will tell through his podcasts.
One of the peculiarities of the collection is that all holders of Cockpunch NFTs will receive limited commercial rights over the character in their NFT to create derivative works featuring their character.
When launched, the collection was sold out in almost no time, further causing a total craze on the secondary market. One could think that Ferris has made a fortune on his roosters, but that's far from being true. Mr. Ferris has donated 100% of the primary sales to his personal NGO, dubbed Saisei Foundation. The fund is engaged in psychedelic drug research, concerning their possible therapeutic value in the treatment of mental diseases.
