The NFT marketplace Autograph owned by Tom Brady is launching a new campaign to give a nod to the future of American sports. The collection is dubbed The Future Is and features five award-winning young athletes, each being a pro in his or her field.
Meet WNBA prodigy Sabrina Ionescu, a hope of the US tennis Coco Gauff, successful golfer Collin Morikawa, LA Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, and Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns. Each young athlete will have a three-piece limited-edition NFT collection, showcasing a certain period in their career. Moreover, the tokens will come backed up with utility for the minters, ranging from signed merch and broadcasts to the guided journey into the athlete’s life and passions.
The non-fungible tokens within The Future Is... processed by renowned digital artists will be reflecting the passion for sports burning in each young athlete for their discipline.
The Future Is... starts from the three NFTs featuring Sabrina Ionescu, which can be viewed on Autograph, and will be available to mint on the DraftKings NFT marketplace, starting from May 10th, at 3 pm EST. The rest drops from the collection are scheduled as follows:
The three Sabrina Ionescu NFTs will be named and priced differently. Thus, Pro Status NFTs, 350 in total will be sold at $60, All-Time tokens in the amount of 150, will go on sale for $200, and finally, there will be 50 Origins NFTs, priced at $500.
