Legendary Beeple united with CorridorDigital to drop a new artwork “The 2 Hour Portrait” on the 24th of March. The artists were given just 2 hours to create a self-portrait, and the result will definitely impress you!
Here is a short description of the creation process: “At the end of those two hours, a jpeg had to be loaded on a flash drive and placed in a suitcase, which was then sealed. This no-excuses process celebrates creation and denies perfection, stating that the value of a piece comes not from technical precision and mastery, but from the emotion put into the creation”.
Mike Winkelmann aka Beeple is a digital artist, famous for not-so-subtle symbolism in his artworks, based on today's truths. He has a huge army of followers on social media who adore the artist’s vision and style. By the way, «Everydays: The First 5000 Days» NFT artwork has been recently sold for $69 million dollars.
CorridorDigital is a creative studio known for its out-of-this-world content creation. They make “visual art that pushes the boundaries of what technology can achieve”, or in other words, these are viral online pop culture short videos.
