While the number of metaverse residents is constantly increasing, the need for luxury items in the realm is growing accordingly. Chick homes, boutiques, cars, and now yachts are available for those who are used to living the high life.

The other day, the top-ranking digital yacht dealer Cloud Yachts has put up for sale a superyacht NFT worth a whopping $95 million. To implement the daring project, one of the most reputable brokers from Denison Yachting Alex Clarke, and experienced naval architect Gregory C Marshal from Delta Marine have joined the Cloud Yachts team. Of course, as you may have supposed, the NFT will go paired with a real-live superyacht, which is being developed by the iconic North American shipyard Delta Marine.

The project results in a tech-packed 63-meter superyacht NFT, titled Project Metaverse. Estimated at almost $100 million, once sold, the NFT superyacht would become the highest-priced NFT ever sold.

“When I first heard about the Gregory Marshall NFT new build project I knew I had to be involved as I feel this will be a groundbreaking project and implement a shift in the way yachts are built and sold,” Alex Clarke commented on the collaboration.

Project Metaverse will be introduced to the public on March 24th as part of the Palm Beach International Boat Show. This will be a totally groundbreaking show, providing true connoisseurs with a one-and-only opportunity to write your name down in history by acquiring a one-of-a-kind NFT and a newly-built superyacht.

It's noteworthy that Cloud Yachts have taken up the NFT course pretty much a time ago. The platform claimed itself after the first NFT drop during the Miami Yacht Show in February. Thus, they offered limited-edition superyacht NFT designs to the public and sold 10 of those during the show for 1 ETH.
