The two-times Grammy-nominated DJ, producer, and NFT degen Steve Aoki has recently announced a brand-new top-tier partnership with a hyping Deadfellaz NFT project timed to the upcoming Halloween. The collab concerns Aoki's apparel brand and record label Dim Mak and will be released during the much-awaited Halloween-themed one-night event Deadzone LA on October 29th.
Deadzone LA brings together the Deadfellaz community, named The Horde, to enjoy music, art, music performances, and entertainment from the globally-renowned party-throwers, Emo Nite, and will provide a multisensory metaverse experience for the attendees.
Right amidst the Deadzone LA roaring party, the Deadfellaz x Dim Mak capsule collection, featuring custom-designed apparel and their NFT copies, will be revealed. The capsule was designed by Deadfellaz co-founders Betty and Psych, the project’s illustrator Leon Lee, and Steve Aoki himself. The vivid, gender-neutral collection will feature a varied range of items, from tees to hoodies, skate decks, and even a super rare jacket with signature zombie-like characters resembling Betty, Psych, Aoki, and the Deadfellaz avatars. Moreover, each physical jacket comes with a microchip that activates a twin NFT wearable.
The centerpiece of the collection is an extremely rare, limited-edition varsity jacket, which will be accessible exclusively to A0k1verse members and Deadfellaz NFT holders. The jacket will become available online, the next day after the event. The rest of the collection will also be put up for sale right after Deadzone LA, being accessible to everyone willing via the Dim Mak Collection website.
This collaboration comes a year after Steve performed an exclusive set for The Horde at the first-ever Deadfellaz metaverse event last Halloween. "I am honored to drop this collaboration for our Horde and share our passion with the world — the pieces are colorful, effervescent, and luxurious; I can’t wait to rock them!” Steve Aoki commented on the upcoming capsule.
Celebrate Halloween and pamper yourself with a super stylish Deadfellaz x Dim Mak apparel piece to show it off both in the real world and the metaverse!
