1. This is my "Molding Oni" collection. Each piece will contain a unique NFT illustration of the respective themed Oni mask for submission to the owner after the auction closes.
2. The term Oni (鬼) means troll or ogre. This is the aptest description for the word, even though it was known in the Western world as a demon (in Japanese, Yokai). The Oni is a creature with a human body, the head of an animal, and can have horns and fangs of varying sizes. They have always nervous facial expressions, which makes them seen as evil beings.
On the other hand, the Onis symbolize protection. His fierce expression would have the power to ward off negative and heavy energies and even drive away evil spirits.
