It is designated as the prefectural flower of Niigata Prefecture on the Sea of Japan side of Honshu.
I really wanted to see this O-Misumisou with my own eyes and to shoot it, so I went all the way to Niigata Prefecture. As I walked along the natural habitat walking course, I could only find small ones at first, but as I progressed, I was surprised and couldn't believe my eyes. As if guided by something, when I arrived at a certain place, there was a large plant of O-Misumisu with more than 20 flowers. The more I want to give this O-Misumisu to someone's birthday present, This individual was just a bouquet of O-Misumisou.
