Picasso's legacy is eternal as the genius keeps living on in his descendants. Thus, Pablo's granddaughter, Marina Picasso, and her son Florian Picasso are releasing a never-before-seen Man & The Beat NFTs, blurring the limits between the physical and digital art motifs. The collection of 1,010 non-fungible art pieces is based on Pablo Picasso's unveiled ceramic items.
Marina’s and Florian’s “Man & The Beat” NFTs will be segmented into five separate lots, while each will be composed of 200 NFTs. This collection, titled “Visage de Couleur” will be released on www.manandthebeat.com at 6:30 pm ET on January 28. There will also be “Visage de Lumière”, and it will be released on Nifty Gateway at 6:30 pm ET on January 28. This will be a ranked auction running for 24 hours.
But that’s not all! In March, Marina is going to partner with an influential auction house for the sale of 1:1 NFT. The drop will consist of an exclusive piece from her private collection.
To justify the collection's name and add some depth to creative tokens, the great-grandson of the famed artist, DJ Florian Picasso, has collaborated with top-ranking musicians Nas and John Legend on a new track titled “Tomorrow.” As Florian and his mother state, each NFT will be accompanied by “Tomorrow," granting a reverent feeling of contemplation revealing the legacy of Picasso across four generations. The Man & The Beat collection is the first in a series that will be presented by Marina and Florian Picasso, all featuring NFTs embraced with the most renowned contemporary musicians. A share of proceeds will be donated to support Nurse Heroes (a charity organization struggling to minimize a shortage of nurses in the workforce) and Carbon180 (a climate-focused NGO aimed to reduce carbon emissions).
