Mike Shinoda is a familiar name in the American music industry for his contribution to the boy band Linkin Park. His skills as a musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer have contributed to his popularity, which spans the world. Mike was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California and immediately got into music fresh out of high school. His first group was together with Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon. They formed the Xero band, which later changed to Linkin Park. Mike’s success in music has put him at the forefront of working with well-known brands like Warner Bros Records. Outside music, Shinoda also has a prolific career in art and digital graphic design, with some of his works being displayed in the Japanese American National Museum.
The artist’s entry into NFT’s includes a drop that debuted on March 29 2021. It was a collaborative effort between himself and Esteban Diácono. The success of the drop led to Mike involvement in another drop by Wax Wane featuring a single track named, The Way Down, in which he was the producer.
