Krewella is an American brand that produces rock music categorised in the EDM genre. In 2007, the band comprised talented vocalists and guitarists Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf. The band’s style of the music borrows from electronic sub-genres, including progressive house, electro, dubstep, drum and bass, trap music and future bass. Krewella released their first Album titled, Play Hard, in 2012 and followed by the Get Wet album, an exclusive iTunes release. The band was originally comprised of 3 members, but the only male, Kristopher Trindl, left, leaving the two sisters.
Quality music has made the band associated with record labels Columbia, Monstercat, and Mixed Kids. It also has associations with celebrities like Pegboard, Nerds, R3HAB, Lookas, Yellow Claw, Jauz, and KSHMR. In going into NFT, the band has collaborated with Sasha Vinogradova, an experienced graphic designer for the drop titled“Perfect Machine”, which comprises 4 tracks by Krewella and accompanying digital sculptures by Sasha. It launched on Nifty Gateway on April 29 2021.
