Chris: Rucka’s Nuckas NFT look inspired by the lego toys. Is it true? Where does your inspiration come from?
Rucka Rucka Ali: The original Mini-Rucka image was first on my 2016 album cover, which was depicted as a spoof of the lego movie. The image has become iconic, so we conceived thousands of possible variations of the Rucka character–just like the diversity of the lego universe.
Chris: How do I know which are the rare tokens? Do you have a different price for the rare NFTs?
Rucka Rucka Ali: The Chart at NFT.RuckasWorld.com displays the rarity of different traits. For example, the Crown is super rare. Each NFT costs 1 Sol to mint, and the rarity will depend on the traits.
Chris: Furthermore, the NFT’s are to go up for public sale. How do you plan to use the royalties?
Rucka Rucka Ali: We want to keep producing music and entertainment for the Rucka's Nuckas, of course. The more we grow and continue to reach millions of people, the higher value the NFTs will have to owners. And we want to help other artists and their fans learn about the independence and opportunities afforded by NFTs.
Chris: Is Rucka’s Nuckas NFT just an artwork project? What else can I do with my NFT?
Rucka Rucka Ali: These NFTs are modern-day digital music memorabilia – the sentimental value, the bragging rights, and of course the appreciating resale value.
Chris: What is the roadmap for the future for Rucka’s Nuckas NFT? What is next once the NFTs are sold?
Rucka Rucka Ali: We're going to offer special perks and airdrops, and build an even stronger community. Right off the bat, Rucka's Nuckas NFT owners will have access to the new Rucka Rucka Ali song "Godzirra" a month before its release date.
Rucka's Nuckas have been around for many years; some Nuckas now have kids that have grown up to become Nuckas themselves. This is only the beginning for us.
