Oscar-Winning Actor Anthony Hopkins is Seeking to Buy His First NFT Art Piece

The supermassive stars in the skies of the world's cinema are regularly highlighting their new NFT and web3 endeavors. One of the latest superstars who have dived deeply into the realm is Jim Carrey with his first-ever NFT. Now, following in the footsteps of his multiple colleagues, the iconic representative of the old school, the best "Hannibal Lector" of all times, Anthony Hopkins is seeking his inaugural dream NFT piece to start his own non-fungible collection.

According to a recent tweet, the Oscar-winning actor is asking the celebrities known to be NFT nuts like Snoop Dogg, Jimmy Fallon, and Reese Witherspoon to help him find his ideal collectible to start with. And one of those crypto enthusiasts of those tagged by Hopkins has already replied to the call for help. Thus, The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon responded to Hopkins’ request with a tweet, reading: "I love your pondering photo. There are a bunch of great artists out there and it’s a fun community in general. But, as the great Aaron Neville once said “I don’t know much - but I know I love you.” And that may be all you need to know. DM me."

The other two respondents have not reacted to Anthony Hopkins' message so far. Although the actor hasn’t chosen his dream art NFT yet, this is not his first attempt at web3. Anthony Hopkins released an NFT film titled Zero Contact via Vuele back in 2021.

Moreover, the current Twitter profile name, AHopkins.eth, is the best evidence of the actor's intentions. According to Etherscan, Anthony Hopkins acquired the ENS domain name about a month ago.

It's an exciting puzzle, what kind of non-fungible art piece the cine guru will choose in the end. Stay tuned and sniff the wind for updates!
