We are thrilled to launch the WXw3 Women and Non-Binary in Web3 Accelerator program. The program onboarded and selected 50 women and non-binary creators to join the MakersPlace platform. From the 50 artists selected to participate in the online exhibition, the women of MakersPlace curated 13 NFTs for an in-person event at the NFT Factory during NFT Paris 2023.
Applicants for the WXw3 Accelerator program were given the following prompts to keep in mind when submitting art to MakersPlace:
- Symbols and imagery that represent female strength and resilience
- Showcase women from diverse backgrounds coming together to support each other
- Visual representations breaking down gender barriers and stereotypes
The WXw3 Exhibition in Paris is presented in partnership with World of Women, The Fabricant, and Eyes of Fashion and will be the first women and non-binary NFT artist exhibition in Paris.
The women & non-binary artists in Web3, “WXw3 Paris” event will kick off the NFT Paris conference weekend and feature a 52-screen curation of digital art & fashion celebrating and uplifting Women & Nonbinary artists in Web3.
