Troglodyte Society NFTs are a collection of 10,000 unique digital art images that were created to help fund our charity project called TS Foundation. TS Foundation is a charity that was founded by the creator of Troglodyte Society and the goal is to help build a children's center with supplementary education for young people in Sierra Leone. This children's center will also assist in generating employment opportunities for underprivileged young people.
This project is important because many of the young children of Sierra Leone are suffering. The effects of the Sierra Leone civil war that happened in the early 90's and lasted for 10 years have left the country and its education system in ruins. During the war, many kids suffered; many were forced to become child solders; many lost limbs, arms, legs; many lost their parents and their lives. Even though the war has ended, there are many who still suffer to this day.
We are so attached to this cause because our own Troglodyte Society creator is a product of Sierra Leone. Fleeing the country as a refugee back in 1993, he was one of the lucky ones. He now wants to go back and help those who can't help themselves and this can be done with NFTs.
