The Precursors are an ancient species of omnidimensional entities. Eons ago they created a system of portals that allowed travel to different dimensions. These interdimensional engineers acted as subtle guardians, gently steering the lifeforms they encountered from cataclysmic events and towards their maximum potential. As well as leaving their amazing and mysterious gateways. Now, their existence has become a thing of folk tales and legend, their technological legacies lie dormant till their rediscovery.
