Once you have minted, you can immediately access the game platform, connect with players and game masters, and play The Glimmering. All game outcomes are recorded on-chain to your player character hero. Completed adventures yield rewards in the form of treasure, weapons, and loot NFTs.
The Glimmering consists of a 10K collection of 8 ancestries across 12 different classes with more than 43,000 individual, hand-drawn art layers. GRIPNRs art team is led by famed artist, Angry Blue, who has done work for Foo Fighter, Metallica, The Melvins, Primus, Roger Waters and more.
In addition, we've partnered with J1mmy.ETH to bring his Mutant Apes into the world of The Glimmering, as derivative collection, "Glimmering Mutant Apes". Those holding a Glimmering Hero NFT will be guaranteed access to mint a Glimmering Mutant Ape when we launch that part of the collection in the early summer.
Finally, GRIPNR is creating an industry-standard protocol for all tabletop RPGs, and those in The Glimmering genesis Hero collection will have first access to all games and collections launched on their protocol.
