After a two-year break, the world-famous magazine dedicated to music and popular culture, Rolling Stone, announces its pompous comeback with the return of Rolling Stone Live. The star-studded live music event in Los Angeles wasn’t held for two years due to the pandemic.

This year, Rolling Stone Live (Rslive2022) will feature musical performances by Kaskade, Tinashe, Iann Dior, and a DJ set by Lil Jon. Leading up to Rslive2022, the firms Doordash and Twitch will work with Rolling Stone to host on-site studio sessions.

All the buzz actually is to celebrate the exclusive collaboration between Rolling Stone and cryptocurrency platform Coinbase, which will result in a series of one-of-a-kind NFTs. The limited-edition tokens will be available for minting to all party heads who use the Coinbase Wallet exclusively during the festival. The 12 most prominent artists got a hand on the Rolling Stone x Coinbase NFTs creation. Thus, Deadfellaz, Elise Swopes, Boss Beauties, KidEight, MikeGrillMadeIt, MarkTheHabibi, Domino, Giant Swan, Alida Sun, Jeff Manning, Mister Goldie, and Emonee LaRussa were tasked with creating the NFTs that showcase the Rolling Stone logo. By the way, referring to the logo again, it’s clear that Coinbase is presenting this year’s Rolling Stone Live event to be held on February 12, 2022.

Later in 2022, the Coinbase NFTs will be transformed into exclusive animated tokens. While the static NFTs will be available during the Rolling Stone Live only, the animated tokens will drop exclusively on the Coinbase NFT marketplace, which is about to launch the other day.

For now, we can only doubt what the Rolling Stone x Coinbase exclusive animated tokens will look like. Let’s wait and see!
