A carbon offset is a reduction in emissions of greenhouse gases in order to compensate for emissions made elsewhere. You can ‘offset’ your carbon emissions by purchasing carbon offsets from renewable energy projects that will produce clean energy, like our Manorville, NY Solar Farm, replacing polluting fossil fuels like coal and natural gas.
Each NFT represents 10 carbon offsets from the project, which is equal to 10 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) that is prevented from entering the atmosphere. The proceeds go toward the construction of the solar farm.
