Pop Genius is a collection of 1,000 original pop art portraits from1K Gallery, opening alongside the gallery's first collection on the same day.
The series takes the most recognizable scientific face of the twentieth century and carries it into the language of pop art: saturated flat backgrounds, heavy outlines, hair and moustache in colours no one was born with, and knitwear in stripes and diamonds. Genius and mischief share the same frame, and that contradiction is the whole collection.
