Origamasks = Kid + Origami + Venice Mask Carnival
Kid
A kid has a core nature of being generous, kind, curious, creative and can be friends with anyone. Imagine if we all, as adults, also have the same core nature like that. We want to bring this into Origamasks.
Origami
An ancient Japanese recreational art of paper folding. Children often partake in such activities by learning-by-doing from one another and doing things together. It is adopted in everyday life stems from the idea that it sure helps when you have friends that teach you along the way.
Venice Mask Carnival
The celebration of Venice Republic’s victory over the patriarch filled the streets of Venice with people who danced and wore masks that protected their identity, while removing any social differences from one another. The idea of stripping away social markers encapsulates what we aim to do with Origamasks, Equality.
