The word Odogwu is of Igbo's origin which can be translated to mean a great personality, a warrior, a giver, a successful man, a great leader, a man that commands respect and not fear, a valorous man with a great courage and completes what he starts. Just as the lion represents greatness and strength so also is an Odogwu. You can't put an Odogwu down' His pain is glory and his gain is a sound of victory for all, Odogwu believes his story must be heard in a positive way. An Odogwu says " Give me lemons and I shall turn them to lemonade", he says "throw me stones and I shall build a castle ".
