A Web3 based community project to protect our oceans
This project has two objectives. The first objective is to reduce CO2 emissions by reforesting mangrove forests. The second objective is to record the biodiversity in the oceans in order to provide the basis for the protection of biodiversity, a major strength of blockchain technology is that it is decentralized and 100% transparent. This is particularly important for non-profit projects to ensure that funds are actually used for the promised purpose. We are committed to ensuring that for every nautical mile sailed, 35 mangroves are planted by our NGO partner and thus every NFT sold contributes to the elimination of 1.000kg of CO2 per year!
The project is based on two pillars NFTs which give NFT owners access to the sailing project and other utilities, as well as ownership of digital art. $Ocean impact Token which secures the token owners' co-ownership of the team's IMOCA racing boat and guarantees income over the next 5 years.
