Our team of devs came with an innovative solution to the problem of centralization. No one has ever made a fully decentralized watch because there are some big issues that come with it at first.
For example: How do you make it possible that a watch can show the local time without taking the time from somewhere centralized? The solution comes through Dynamic NFTs!
We have found that existing NFT watches in the market with similar functionalities are not really blockchain-based: they actually use an NFT to display a webpage where the watch is functioning. Hence, the only blockchain feature they have is to be sold as an NFT.
How does Nomon watches differ from that? Nomon Watches are 100% decentralized, meaning that the entirety of the watch-code and its logic is written in the Blockchain, thanks to dynamic NFT's. Thus, our watches show the current time not depending on any single entity, platform or device, but using the timestamp of each new block and displaying a unique frame of the watch for each minute of the day. Each frame is stored in the IPFS, not in our webpage or local server, as compared to the different projects out there claiming to be decentralized.
