NFTs are sweeping the gaming industry: from new gaming projects building with an NFT first sentiment, to traditional games exploring NFT integration. NFTs are being utilized in gaming for their ownership capabilities, unique traits, and compatibility with the blockchain ecosystem.
The team at “Tanks! For Playing” has been very excited to explore the utilization of NFTs in our game development. In our entirely on-chain game, the possibilities NFTs bring to gameplay are inspiring. Today we’re discussing the beginnings of our NFT strategy: what NFTs we have in the works, how the TANKS token ties into NFTs, and what the future of Tanks NFTs could look like. We also have an exciting announcement for all of our early ICO participants.

If you want to stand out on the battlefield, instill fear in your enemies and dominate your way to glory, you can become the owner of a Tank skin NFT. Battle your friends, and defeat your enemies in your own personal Tank! We’ve already hired 2 amazing graphic artists who have been working hard developing these bespoke tanks
In the first season of Tanks! For Playing, we present the Genesis Tank Collection. These Genesis NFTs will be the foundation of future NFT seasons. While initially, these NFTs will appear to be purely cosmetic, they will carry hidden perks and benefits that will be the envy of future seasons. Our goal is always to bring value to our early adopters and participants.
Prior to a game commencing, you can choose one of the NFT skins you own. Don’t worry, there will be default Tank skins that are available to all players for free.
