Penguin Month runs from 1 to 31 October 2026 on Lunar Flock, a collection of 10,000 hand-drawn penguins on Base, about one for every breeding pair of African penguins left in the wild.
Adoption is open all month at lunarflock.com/adopt. Each penguin is picked at random by Chainlink VRF, and adoption starts at 0.001 ETH. Lunar Remix, the first gear drop, runs until 31 October: 24 recoloured items, 100 of each, which you can try on any penguin before you buy.
Every penguin is also a fighter in Penguin Clash, the free 3-minute penguin MOBA. Play 1v1, 3v3 or 5v5 in any browser, on a phone or a computer, or as a Farcaster mini app at lunarflock.com/clash. No download and no wallet are needed to play, and holders can sign in and take their own penguins online. Each penguin fights by its traits (its outfit is its role and its hat is its power), and bots played tens of thousands of matches to keep every trait close to a 50% win rate, so rare penguins are different, not stronger.
Saturday 10 October is International African Penguin Awareness Day. The African penguin is now critically endangered, and 10% of everything Lunar Flock earns, from adoptions, gear and resale royalties, goes to penguin conservation through an on-chain split paid to Endaoment charities.
Lunar Flock is a collectible and a free game, not an investment: there is no token, no revenue share and no promised returns.
