Linda Hartough has become recognized as one of golf’s leading artists as her work has gained international acclaim. Her golf-landscape career was launched when Augusta National Golf Club commissioned her in 1984 to paint the famed 13th Hole.
Hartough is the only artist ever commissioned by the USGA and R&A Golf Club of St Andrews to do the annual painting and prints for the U.S. Open and the Open Championship. Her work is displayed in the permanent club collections of Augusta National, Laurel Valley, Pinehurst and Pine Valley; in the personal collections of golf notables Jack Nicklaus, Raymond Floyd and Rees Jones; and in the collections of the USGA Museum and Morris Museum of Art.
