Prologue: tokyo, japan. 1600 b.C. 東京
It was a “normal” night at the imperial palace. Emperor kitarohiro started to experience alternate realities during his moments of rest - these visions and experiences became known as dreams. Days later, he interpreted a recurring dream of a mountain sized mystical creature that would constantly visit.
One strange evening, he became conscious during his visions and decided to follow the creature as it wandered off into the darkness.
To his surprise, he discovered a beautiful, enchanted forest. As he followed behind the creature in awe, they arrived to a glowing tree, of which he comes to realize he has been eating from this entire time.
As he begins to come back to his body, the creature leaves him with this wisdom:
“eat from this tree for you will find your ancestors and discover a multiverse of infinite possibilities.”
