The world-renowned female-led NFT project Boss Beauties announced the groundbreaking collab with the largest doll manufacturer Barbie by Mattel.
The announcement comes in the run-up to the 3 events in a row: the launch of Boss Beauty Role Models 1/1 NFT drop scheduled between March 9-12th, the celebration of the International Women's Day, and the anniversary of the first Barbie doll launched on March 9th back in distant 1959.
Thus, the collection of outstanding Boss Beauty Role Models 1/1 NFTs is designed “to empower women and girls at the forefront of technology and creativity.”
The Boss Beauties team is very uplifted on the eve of the upcoming release: “We at Boss Beauties are super excited to kick Women’s History Month off with our newest DREAM partner!”
The collection will be available for purchase via OpenSea, with each digital asset focused on the empowerment of women. What’s more, all proceeds from sales will go to the Barbie Dream Gap Project – Mattel’s research initiative forwarded on disclosing the career potentials in young girls.
“We know that children are inspired by what they see around them. That is why it’s so important for young girls to see themselves as role models who’ve daringly pushed past roadblocks and overcome the Dream Gap to become the brave women they are today,” Lisa McKnight, Senior Vice President at Barbie commented on the upcoming NFT collection.
