Inspired by the timeless works of Anthony Ravielli and the digital age, iconic images of Bobby Jones take on a new life and meaning. The original collaboration between Jones and Ravielli, golf and art legends, captured the beauty of Bobby Jones' swing. Ethereal sketches and anatomically accurate drawings and illustrations were the hallmarks of their work together.
Today, artist Christopher "CR" Obetz has developed a series of Pop Art Golf paintings that add a new dimension and energy to the once static works, infusing them with a sense of life that compliments their original intent.
The NFT then became the natural extension from the past to the present and now the future of art, opening doors to a Metaverse of new possibilities. Working with digital artists as the next generation of collaborators, the series explores how animations of the golf swing, physical brushstrokes, and the inclusion of the movement of fluid emulsions filled with color transport nearly a century old art to the modern day.
