Slimesunday

Mike Parisella aka Slimesunday is one of the most discussed digital collage artists of the new era. The creator pushes the limits of mainstream canons, delivering his artistic view through bizarre and erotic topics. Slimesunday's daring art pieces arouse waves of outrage among prudes on the one hand but attract an army of open-minded artsy bohemians on the other. While the artist's work often bumps into bans on social networks, this recognizable outlook is highly appreciated by top glosses like Playboy, Penthouse, Hunger, Plastik, and Glamour Magazine.

As a lion's share of Slimesunday's work faces censorship, the artist dilutes frank nudity with everyday life scenes, textures, and landscapes. When this move of his didn't help much and banns continued, he created two books named Banned from the Internet, one red and one blue.

In addition, he also started exploring NFT spaces, and tokenized those banned artworks, evoking a great splash in the community. His most successful sale was of Gunky's Uprising in collab with 3LAU in March 2021, which sold for an unparalleled $1,333,333.

In recent days, Slimesunday has made quite a noise in the realm with his personal collections like Slime Shop as well as 1/1 NFT artworks. The latest of which was put up for auction on Christie's 3.0 as part of this year's five-day celebration entitled The Gateway: A Web3 Metropolis.
