Future Art is a series of pre-planned events that bring together digital crypto artists who specialize in different disciplines worldwide. Popular NFT marketplaces such as Nifty Gateway, SuperRare, and Rarible all facilitate the event to make digital art popular and more profitable to artists. Future Art events are virtual and require the attendants to have smart devices. Art is then exhibited using a combination of HD projections, digital display frames, augmented reality, and virtual reality. The first Future Art event was in 2021 and comprised art pieces from icons such as Coldie, The Sarah Show, Marc O Matic, Giant Swan, and Serwah Attafuah. In one of the events, the attendants got a one-on-one interactive session with some headlining artists.
In contrast, they got a front-row seat to a live session of creating artistic sculptures in another event. As the NFT space grows in size and popularity, more Future Art events are set to come. They will feature more artists, DJs, musicians, and creatives keen on redefining art and music ownership.
