Diana Sinclair

Diana Sinclair is a visual artist and photographer based in New York. Diana has been creative since her pre-teen years, expressing her aesthetic skills via a social and creative app called Draw Something until it went defunct. Diana has always known that a career in arts is her way and hasn’t gone out of it. 

In 2019, Diana enrolled in a scholarship program at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). There, she got her first camera and quickly fell in love with photography. 
Venturing into the realm of non-fungible tokens at an early stage, Sinclair achieved her first NFT sale in April 2021. Her tokenized photograph was featured in a series called ‘I Am the Black Gold of the Sun,’ inspired by a song passed down to Sinclair from her mother.

Diana has also founded the Digital Diaspora, an NFT brand and exhibition that promotes the works of black artists. The initiative debuted on Juneteenth (June 19th) 2021, a significant day commemorating the emancipation of enslaved black individuals. Digital Diaspora brought Sinclair to a large audience.

2021 was a breakthrough year for Diana Sinclair. That year she collaborated with the legendary Whitney Houston’s estate on a project featuring a never-before-seen video of the legend. The project sold for over $1 million. Sinclair also ranked #33 in the list of Fortune’s 50 most influential people in NFTs. She has also been featured as an artist in the renowned news magazine TIME.
