My practice as an artist perennially questions man's relationship to and its impact on the natural environment. The Warped Space images are so named as the product and marriage of two seemingly unconnected photographs. Images of a disused and abandoned Industrial building, an architectural folly, sited at the edge of a railway line, superimposed with microscopic plant material taken with an electron microscope.
Can nature overcome the pressures humankind increasingly puts on planet earth? Who will ultimately survive?
